EduSpots connects, trains and equips local voluntary Catalysts to drive community-led change through supporting them in creating and leading community-led library education spaces names 'Spots'.
To date, they have trained over 400 Catalysts in 50 communities, to impact 10,000 learners annually, with the Spots housing a range of resources including resource kits, over 140,000 books, and digital devices through which they access EduSpots' app.
Why we love them:
Because at the local level they are a 100% volunteer-led, with over 60% of the staff team from the Spot communities. Community-run, and community-led can often be a buzz words overused in this sector, but this unique organisation has brought together 400 volunteers, who are now the driving engine behind their own change.
